The philosophy

Identity, not willpower

Bitácora exists for two kinds of trader: the beginner, who still needs to learn patience, and the intermediate, who already knows how to trade but needs to build discipline and consistent execution, with a focus on continuous improvement. This is the core axis of everything we build — and it's not negotiable:

IdentityExecutionImprovementResults

We don't sell discipline, patience or results directly — they're the consequence of a correctly built identity. And that identity isn't built before you trade: it's forged through repeated execution. Improvement is the feedback that comes from executing your process again and again, not a prerequisite for being able to do it. Bitácora's checklist exists to measure exactly that: whether following your process actually improves your result.

This brand's enemy is identity based on outcome — the one that produces anxiety, pushes you to overtrade, break your own rules, and look for shortcuts. A trading journal that only looks at your P&L reinforces exactly that enemy.

"You don't get results according to your desires, but according to your identity."

Like a forge: a trader's character is tempered through repeated practice, not before it. That's why Bitácora is, above all, a trading psychology and trading discipline tool disguised as a trade journal.

We help traders build the identity that sustains results: patience, discipline, and consistent execution.

Bitácora's 4 modules

Trading

Your process, actually measured

Log every trade with your strategy, your emotional state, and your own confirmation checklist. If you trade prop firm accounts, you see your drawdown and daily loss live. In Performance Analysis you see your results by strategy, session, day, emotion — and by how many checklist confirmations you met, to prove whether following your process actually improves your results.

Personal

What sustains discipline off the chart

Your daily routines, your goals, and your personal journal — everything that sustains consistent execution away from the trading screen. The habit history lets you review any date range, not just the full month.

Finance

Knows where your money comes from and goes to

Track your accounts (cash, debit, credit, savings) and every expense or income knows where the money came from or went to. Transfer between your own accounts, pay debts from whichever account you choose, and see your "Available balance" always exact — no guessing.

Investments

Your net worth, in a single number

Log your purchases (even several of the same asset at different prices) and which account the money came from — it connects directly with Finance. Your "Total net worth" adds it all up: accounts, savings, and investments, minus your debts.

K. LEE's books

Bitácora measures your process. K. LEE's books are the mental framework that sustains it — the practice and the knowledge, as one system. Tap a book to see the table of contents and a real excerpt before you decide.

The Process Code

Why do you know how to trade — and still aren't winning?

The answer isn't a new strategy. It's the one you've already broken a hundred times without noticing.

Table of Contents

  1. I. Know Yourself Before You Try to Know the Market
  2. II. The Psychology That Blows Up Accounts
  3. III. Building the Mindset of a Successful Trader
  4. IV. Risk Management and Systems
  5. V. The 90-Day Plan
"The market doesn't pay you for knowing technical analysis. It pays you for the quality of your decisions under pressure. And decisions under pressure are made by the mind, not the system."

You've read the books. You have a broker. You've spent months, maybe more than a year, in front of the charts. You know the patterns, you can spot a support level, you understand the difference between an uptrend and a downtrend. And yet your account isn't growing. You know enough to trade. Just not enough to win. So what's going wrong? This book was born from that question — and the answer, uncomfortable as it is, isn't in the market. It's in you.

"Ignorance in trading is never innocent. Every concept you don't understand is an open door the market can walk through to take your money."

It's the moment you sit down in front of the screen, look at your account, and understand exactly nothing of what's happening. You don't know what a pip is, or a lot, or a spread. And above all, you don't know where to start. This book was written for exactly that moment — for the person who knows trading exists and wants to learn from the ground up, without anyone treating them as if they already know it all.
